The Shipping and Building Company TRANSAND Jerzy Gotowski is a private company established in 1991. From 1991 to 2002, the company had its seat in Bydgoszcz, Ujejskiego Street. In 2003 it was moved to Nekla, the commune of Dobrcz, supporting the local enterprise. We are a small yet flourishing firm, owing to the wide range of our services and flexible activity. We have our own transportation base as well as technical back-up facilities which ensure continuous development and modernization of the up-to-date equipment. We accomplish all the tasks on our own, which is largely important for appropriate customer service. Every year the company increases its offer, adapting to the market changes and the increasing needs and requirements of the customers. At the same time we put particular emphasis on maintaining high quality of our services and the best possible organization of work. In our policy of activity we are oriented towards our customers, their tastes and preferences.

Throughout its operation (that is for 15 years now), "TRANSAND" has reached a strong and stable position on the national market, which is confirmed by loyal customers, contractors and suppliers of long standing. In March 2004 we were awarded the ISO 9001:2000 and 14001:1996 Certificates - Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System. In 2005 the certificate was adapted to the modified environmental requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and 14001:2004. The cooperation with a number of companies allow us to offer low prices of different kinds of waste. We search for appropriate methods and ways of waste disposal for our employers. The company is specialized in dewatering of lagoons by means of presses. Our high competence in the area of transportation, waste recovery and utilization, reliability and experience of our employees, attractive terms of cooperation and high quality of our services have won confidence of numerous companies. Our skills have been appreciated and recognized by society and our customers, which is proved by a number of references, awards, distinctions and acknowledgments. The scope of the company's activity is transportation, storage and utilization of hazardous materials; cleaning of chemical tanks and reclamation ditches; transport of loose materials; dewatering of sludge by means of presses; maintenance and repair of sewerage systems and equipment; cleaning soil and groundwater of different kinds of impurities using the geoxidation method IN SITU; removal of the permanent infrastructure of burials. The company provides safe collection and utilization of hazardous materials.

The company's success is the skill of adapting to any new situation on the market, finishing every year "in the black", accumulation of competent and well-coordinated employees and the skill of their motivation. Our employees include well-qualified managerial staff, drivers with relevant qualifications, and a consultant for safe transport of hazardous materials in conformity to the requirements of the Law dated 28 October 2002 on road transport of hazardous goods (Journal of Laws No.199 Item 1671). The company has decisions concerning collection and transport of all waste on the basis of the Ordinance of the Minister of Environmental Protection dated 27th September 2001 on the waste register, issued by the Bydgoszcz district authorities, as well as decisions on running an activity related to recovery and utilization of hazardous and other waste.

Owing to our services, about 140,000 tons of different hazardous materials have been removed from the province of Kujawy and Pomorze. The environment- and quality-related objectives of our company include: ongoing development and maintaining the leading position on the Polish market; improvement of the quality and extension of the scope of our services; surface and groundwater pollution control; reduction of emission of pollutants to the atmosphere; soil protection; rational use of raw and other materials, energy and water; and activity in favour of human health protection.

From the very beginning, we have been not indifferent to our surroundings. We co-organize and co-finance a number of cultural (including international) and entertainment events, jubilee exhibitions, etc. We are proud to buy the "gold heart" at the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity auction.
